Barcelona Freezes Alba Refresh File
Barcelona has decided to freeze its bid to renew its contract with Jordi Alba, a Spanish press report said on Wednesday.
According to the newspaper "Marca" Madrid, that there was no contact between the player and the management of the club, during the last month, the contract of Alba will expire in 2020.
The newspaper stressed that Barcelona, will not rush in the issue of renewal.
Barça had earlier discussed with Alba some things about the new contract, but without elaborating.
Alba looks to gain greater advantages, in the new decade, both financially and sports.
The Spanish international took part in 32 out of 37 matches played by the Catalan side this season.
