Sharjah spoils the joy of victory with its new stadium
The Sharjah team won a valuable win at the expense of Al-Nasr, without a reply, in a match between them at the new Al Maktoum Stadium on Thursday evening, in the 15th round of the Gulf Arab League.
In the 75th minute of the game, Sharjah are credited with returning home with full points to play against Ryan Mendez, to spoil the joy of the owners of the new stadium.
Sharjah lifted its lead to 37 points, boosted by the lead on the league standings, while the balance of victory at 16 points, remained in ninth place in the ranking of the competition.
The game was quick and exciting, and the referee canceled a goal scored by Igor Cornado of Sharjah in the 39th minute, after returning to the video technique, which confirmed the touch of Saif Rashed of the ball with his hand, before playing a cross.
